Chelsea in Bloom 2017

London, 2017

Elephant Family's Joint Royal President, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, made a surprise visit to Chelsea to see an incredible life size floral artwork of Tara the Asian elephant

Elephant Family went live with 10 magnificent floral animals in partnership with Chelsea in Bloom from the 22nd - 27th May, created by the incredible All for London florist team.

Extending the iconic RHS Chelsea Flower Show out into the local neighbourhood, the annual Chelsea in Bloom festival of floral art saw the area transformed into a menagerie of wildlife for this year’s ‘Floral Safari’ theme, with over 50 competitors inspired by exotic animals and far-flung destinations to create stunning displays made of fresh flowers.

Visitors got the chance to spot majestic life-sized floral animals roaming the streets, including Tara the Sloane Square Elephant, Sloane Street Zebras, Duke of York Square Lions, Pavilion Road Rhino, as well as two lurking Crocodiles. All the animals are now available for sale, with 100% of proceeds donated back to wildlife.
