London, June 2019

On Thursday 13th June, The Animal Ball returned once more bringing the greatest celebration of the natural world back to London. For its third iteration, TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall welcomed 600 beautiful, masked creatures to Clarence House & Lancaster House. Conjured up by fashion's greatest creative minds, including Sabyasachi, Prada, Chloe, Kenzo, Charlotte Olympia and Missoni, this year's collection of animal headgear was worn in powerful homage to the elephants, tigers, leopards and all other endangered wildlife and poor, rural communities that share their ever-shrinking habitat. The night was a visual feast, raising £1 million.

London, November 2016

On the 22nd of November, the world’s greatest fashion houses collaborated to dress a bestiary of beautiful creatures from all corners of British society to celebrate and protect nature’s greatest masterpieces.

Shying away from a live auction and formal sit down dinner, this creative fundraiser saw London’s top restaurants host 40 private dinners in unison; and 40 leading fashion houses dress each set of guests with spectacular animal masks and headgear.

The event raised £1.6 million for our planet's most magnificent and endangered species and put rocket fuel under some of the most effective and dynamic conservationists at large today.

The Animals Went in Two by Two to the Ball

The Animal Ball was a party with a purpose to celebrate and save some of the most endangered wildlife on the planet. Guests including Cara Delevingne, Poppy Delevingne, Jerry Hall and Rupert Everett were adorned in a menagerie of masks created by the world’s top milliners, designers and artists. The grand hall was rocked out by Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, comprising a 20 piece ensemble and an exclusive set from Patrick Wolf and Sophia Brous. Hosted at Clarence and Lancaster House in the presence of TRH The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, the event raised over £600,000 for conservation projects across Asia and in 2020 was crowned among Tatler's most glamorous parties of the previous decade.
