Grand finale of the Big Egg Hunt

Wonders of the Wild marked the end of the world's largest Easter egg hunt. Eggs lined the walkway to the venue and artists were presented by Elephant Family Joint Royal Presidents, Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Artists

'70'

Simon Emery

The 1970's - a time of the Silver Jubilee. Union Jack flags were everywhere, not just flying from every flagpole, but adorning the clothing of Punks and Mods and decorating just about anything you could print the flag on. This egg was created using expertly applied coats of lacquer in Abalone Flake, Kandy Apple Red and Kandy Blue. The punk rock slogan was done by the super talented Neil Melliard using platinum leaf and signwriter's enamel.

'Family' was inspired by the strong bonds that elephants share amongst their family and a similar sense shared within the art community. It also pays homage to Elephant Family's work tackling the challenges facing Asia’s wildlife and the indigenous communities that live alongside them.

Shantnu Nikhil Valour’s Vessel

Shantnu and Nikhil

'Shantnu Nikhil Valour's Vessel' is an egg that cradles the echoes of a nation's journey. Adorned with the tangible remnants of history -historical coins, military brooches, worn buttons - it stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the country of India, the unwavering courage that has shaped a nation's identity, and a proud affirmation of its steadfast presence in the world today.
