Launch of the Elephant Trail at Battersea Power Station
A new public trail, featuring 21 exquisite artist-designed elephant sculptures, will run for one month in London in support of Elephant Family.
Battersea Power Station is hosting an unforgettable Easter season with the arrival of The Elephant Trail, a one-of-a-kind public art trail from the Elephant Parade in aid of wildlife charity, Elephant Family.
The Elephant Trail at Battersea Power Station will take place from 26 March – 26 April 2026, with 21 beautifully decorated elephant sculptures displayed across the riverside neighbourhood. Designed by renowned artists and designers from around the globe, including Studio Phantasma and Patricia Collins, the sculptures will transform Battersea Power Station into a vibrant open-air gallery celebrating art, creativity and nature.
The trail invites visitors of all ages to discover each elephant sculpture and log their finds on an immersive art trail app, which will unlock special offers from retailers on the site.
Following the exhibition, the public will have the opportunity to bid for their favourite elephant through an online auction, raising vital funds for the Elephant Family's work protecting Asia’s elephants, tigers and other endangered wildlife.
Elephant Family and Elephant Parade first joined forces in 2010 to present the largest outdoor art event in London at the time, reaching over 10 million people. Since then, Elephant Parade’s global exhibitions have supported the Elephant Family's work in protecting habitats and fostering human-wildlife coexistence. The Elephant Trail at Battersea Station is Elephant Parade's first return visit to London and first time visit for the sculptures on display.
Hitan Mehta OBE, Chief Executive of The British Asian Trust Elephant Family, said: “Elephant Parades around the world are a brilliant showcase of the creativity and passion at the heart of everything that Elephant Family does to protect Asian wildlife. We are delighted to be part of bringing the trail to Battersea Power Station over Easter and hope it inspires joy and support for conservation.”
Sam Cotton, Interim CEO at Battersea Power Station Development Company, said: “We’re excited to welcome visitors to Battersea Power Station this Easter and to be hosting the Elephant Trail, a unique public art exhibition featuring beautifully decorated elephant sculptures designed by talented artists from around the world. From discovering the trail and supporting the important conservation work of the Elephant Family, to enjoying family-friendly activities including mini rides, creative workshops, markets and pop-ups, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
