The Little Egg Hunt

A dozen mesmerising egg sculptures, designed and decorated by leading artists will be displayed throughout Chelsea over from 18 March – 15 April 2023.

The Egg Hunt is one of Elephant Family’s flagship fundraising campaigns and high-profile outdoor art exhibitions. This year’s exhibition will raise funds for Elephant Family’s conservation work and pave the way for the Big Egg Hunt 2025. Throughout Easter next year, 200 of these exquisite creations will take London by storm and be sold at auction in aid of Elephant Family.

The exhibition is only possible through the support of our sponsors Clarence Court and partners IBI Logistics.

HRH Princess Eugenie, long-standing Patron of Elephant Family “I’m delighted to support this year’s little egg hunt in support of Elephant Family. A wonderful celebration of art and a reminder about nurturing the incredible animals that share our planet.”

“This is the Egg Hunt to join…. as Mark Shand, our beloved Founder, said eggs are the symbols of hope and by golly we need that now. Eggs and Elephants: a pairing made in Heaven!”

History

An art installation of epic proportions, The Big Egg Hunt has taken place in London (2012) and New York (2014). Each glorious egg is put on display in iconic locations for six weeks, just waiting to be discovered by members of the public hunting the ultimate prize.

Every single egg masterpiece is auctioned at the end of the hunt, raising vital funds for wildlife protection and conservation.

What is particularly appealing about the hunt is the sheer size and scale of the undertaking and the fact that there is a cross pollination between artists and designers...
